I'm different in French

And I can prove it.

Okay, I can't prove it specifically about myself. But this article suggests that my anecodotal experience is reliable.

For reasons that aren't entirely clear, I experience myself as having a more conventionally 'feminine' personality when I speak French. This perception is reinforced by observations that I seem to attract a greater number of random men when speaking French (not, I hasten to add, because they actually think I'm French and that's somehow hotter than being American). They flock, comparatively speaking, something that is relatively rare in my everyday experience.

On the other hand, it may just be that I'm cuter when I'm somewhat less articulate. A possibility, I admit.
