Good news I forgot to mention

AF got a new job at a major quasi-governmental financial organization. It's not ideal, but it's definitely a job ~ and therefore by definition better than no-job. He'll take a year to evaluate whether the position and the place are right for him, and either stay or move on as seems best.

So at least one of us is gainfully employed.

He's off for a week to Yoga Camp, becoming ever more of a Bendy Boy. He's long overdue for some real R&R, and I imagine he also welcomes a bit of a break from our fairly relentless togetherness. It'll do him good to see old friends in Pittsburgh and to get cosmic in upstate New York.

Yes, I miss him already. But I'll surely manage to keep myself occupied, and I can use the time to catch up with various and sundry friends.

And, hell, maybe all this job-getting will rub off on me, eh?
