Now I'm Pissed
Sour Bob (who is, happily, back in action) called my attention to this. Those of you that have been with me for awhile know that I have a visceral hate of plagiarism and nothing but contempt for those who pass off the creative efforts of others as their own.
Accordingly, I fired off the following missive to the offender:
Subject: Stealing is Wrong
Stop it.
Apologize.
Repeat as needed.
I just received the following reply:
Walk to nearest highway.
Play in traffic.
Repeat as needed.
Oooh, lovely. What a charming person. Care to contribute your two cents?

The Nation's First Primary
Living in DC means being substantially disenfranchised. We pay federal taxes just like everyone else, but we have no voting congressional representation. Congress pretty much determines the DC budget, and "home rule" is a pretty limited and pathetic thing. We don't have any say in where our tax money goes. Revolutions have been fought over this kind of stuff.
As part of an effort to call attention to the unrepresentative nature of our citizenship here in Our Nation's Capital, some folks got together and scheduled Our Nation's First Primary to be held in DC next Tuesday.
What, you thought Iowa and New Hampshire were first? Well, how about that. Nope. Not that anyone is paying any attention (unfortunately), but next Tuesday I'm going to the polls to vote.
Only one candidate has solicited my vote for that primary. Just one. I got the flyer in the mail today.
I just might vote for him.
