Two ends of the spectrum
Google referrers can be uplifting or mightily depressing.
The good: "first pictures of the glorious mystery." I have no idea what the searcher had in mind, but I hope she finds it.
The bad: "survivor episodes to download." No comment required.
The ugly: "child + fuck + binary." Some sicko used the German language Google for this one. I'm ashamed that I even show up for this search string (of course now I will even more). The only consolation is that following the link will hardly provide satisfaction to the seeker. Au contraire. May he recognize himself in my mention of "sick fucks" and get some help.

Sour Bob Signs Off
And we'll miss him, oh how we'll miss him.
If you haven't yet READ Sour Bob, go do so immediately, as the archives have plenty to offer.
I fully expect the writing wonder behind Sour Bob to resurface one of these days. I'll be looking forward to that.

Stupid Money Tricks
So, I get paid in cash right? Tips, you know.
When I got paid by check or was salaried, I either mailed in or had money direct-deposited into my NetBank account, which was marvelously convenient.
There a catch, though. You can't deposit cash by mail to NetBank (for good reason, I understand). This presents a dilemma, as there are many things in life for which I must pay by check (viz., the exceedingly expensive doctor's visit I just had).
What to do, what to do?
I decided to open up a checking account at my local SunTrust, into which I could deposit my cash earnings. AF, my banker boyfriend, assured me that banks these days offer free checking ~ because with interest rates at an all-time low and the economy in the dumper, they really ought to be paying us to use our money.
Well, I guess the news hasn't gotten to SunTrust. Unless I had direct deposit OR was prepared to keep a minimum $1500 balance, I would have to pay at least $5 a month. And I would be allowed only 2 teller visits a month (so much for making it easy for me to deposit cash). I'm thinking: not so much.
So me and my wad of $1200 in cash went out the door again. I'll stick with money-orders for now.
Bastards.
