Interesting reads

Sainteros's morning verses are always worth reading, but I particular liked this one, which includes this thought:

The hand that's held is strongest.

There's a meditation on the role and priority of feelings over at jazzdaddy's today. I don't entirely agree with his conclusions, but I do believe that paying attention to feelings, understanding how we shape and are shaped by them, and seeing how they're woven into all of our social, political, and mental constructs is essential to truly grasping what's going on with us human beings. I may have more to say on the topic later, as it's one that interests me greatly.
